Brothers. Builders of Opportunity. Champions of Change.
Brothers. Builders of Opportunity. Champions of Change.

EcoWheels SA was founded by brothers Aadam and Ismail Phillips, whose journey began far from boardrooms and business plans. Raised in a home where financial challenges were a daily reality, they experienced firsthand the weight of limited resources and the barriers it can place on one’s potential. There were times when even the most basic needs — food, clothing, school essentials — felt out of reach. But those early challenges became fuel.
The brothers made a promise to each other: when they found their footing, they would help others do the same. Not with charity alone, but with real pathways to opportunity. Before EcoWheels SA ever took shape, Aadam and Ismail dedicated themselves to meaningful, hands-on community upliftment across the globe.
Their philanthropic efforts have included:
- Raising funds for food security programmes
- Supporting shelter and housing initiatives
- Providing school materials and sponsorship for learners
- Clothing relief distribution
- Assistance programmes for single mothers supporting families on their own
- Being a part of learnership opportunities and practical skills training
- Developing job creation pathways tied to sustainable industries
- Hosting motivational seminars and empowerment-focused community events
Aadam and Ismail continue to build what they always needed when they were young — opportunity, dignity, and hope.
Their story is not just where EcoWheels SA begins.
It’s what continues to drive it forward
